I want Mario and Luigi Back!!! Last weekend I was challenged by a friend to play ”Play Station 2″, my first experience with video games after the great Family game, hahah.
The Pick for the night was Mortal Kombat. I still wonder why my friend laught at me when I asked to play Mario Bross. Hmm! Anyway… even though It was my first time playing with PS2 I have to say I kicked my friend’s ass. The question is…. Am I too good or he is too bad???
Who hasn’t been hooked on by Mario Bross?? Do you remember the catchy song played when Mario was under ground? God I feel like taking the Family game out of the closet and hit the briks to get coins, jump on the turtules to kill the enemies and try to get the highest score in the flag!
I invite you to watch a video to remember the great Mario Bross 1.
That’s totally arguable… and to my own defense I can say I did not feel okay with slapping a woman….
Or for that matter, kicking her in the face, then repeatedly smashing her stomach with fists of fury, to ultimately send her body through an edgy vent that splattered her guts all over the screen in morbid fashion.
LOL, seriously, I had to take it easy on ya till we played something less violent, and thx to you now that Mario tune has been invading my mind night and day.
BTW, look what happened to the great Mario…
Oh come on!!!! That’s such a clishe…. I LET YOU WIN!!!! give me a break!!!! So macho!!!!
I didn’t know cliches could be sucked… but that’s not the point, the point is you won some of the fights because a time and space vortex was produced at the exact time we sat down to unleash the smackdown, which in turn had me transported into another dimension and then an unskilled alien was left in my place at the couch.
Finally, it all happened cause of the huge amounts of Tabasco sauce that were used that night.
Like that one better? Haha, I love to piss you off with this. But if you are willing to face the consequences of defying me into another round, I’m all yours senorita.
Good point, only that we had dinner after the PS2 session.
yikes, now that’s bubble-bursting right there.
Interesting debate: the traditional games that entertained us as children (babies un both your cases) or the violent games that poisoned our minds later on, forcing us to skip school or to stay up at night playing alone or at a friends house.
In my case, I’ve spent countless hours in front of several computers playing almost all kind of games, and as fun as all this games can be, I prefer the FPS (first person shooter) over any of them, specially if there’s some strategy involved too, and of course the more violent the better. Doom 3 was the absolute glory in that aspect, and Medal of Honor deserves to be mentioned here too.
As to the PS2, I hear they are great, but I’m “oldfashionatedly” in love with my keyboard.
Hugs to both of you,
Maxi
Mxi, Thanks for your contribution! Though I have no idea about those games. Becareful with keyboards, I’ve heard they are not good lovers!!!
